Liatris is a genus of plants native to North America that is commonly known as Blazing Star. It sends up fuzzy magenta spikes in early summer (in the yard in front of the studio) and the pollinators love it just as much as I do. It's a native perennial, which means it grew up here and comes back every year without us humans having to do much to help it along - a great reminder of our creative energy. It's freaky, it's beautiful, it arrives every year bigger and stronger. Big thanks to the blazing star for teaching us to trust that our wild, beautiful feelings belong here.

Who runs Liatris?
